Burglar caught in the act

Civil Guard officers in Playa San Juan (Tenerife) have arrested a man who was trying to break into holiday apartments in the coastal town.

Playa San Juan - 18.11.2008 - A passing patrol spotted the man climbing up balconies in the complex in the early hours of Monday morning. The officers moved in as soon as they realised he was checking for possible break-in targets by peering through the windows of the apartments. When the burglar realised he had been spotted he tried to make his escape but fell and was easily caught.
